Amazing flavourful food and fantastic service. Me and my partners favourite Indian restaurant. Portions are generous and there is a lot of variety as well as great deals. Would highly reccomend.
Amazing, authentic and completely nut free Indian food. For someone with a nut allergy this is a literal unicorn. I made a special trip whilst travelling down from Edinburgh (I’m from Cheshire) and it didn’t disappoint. I will happily make a detour here whenever possible.
One of the best Indian food (authentic feel like in India 🇮🇳) Must visit even loved by the Scottish people 🥘🧆❣️😻 Not too much spicy and tastes amazingly amazing triggers your taste buds and at moderate price. Best for team lunch, family gathering and friends. If you want to have a taste of proper authentic Indian food then my suggestion would be to try this and I am sure the food and service will not disappoint you. Thank you team “The Dhabba” 👍🏻👻
Here on the 15/12/24 on a work evening out. Fantastic food and excellent service.
My husband and I came over for dinner during our short stay in Glasgow. We were welcomed by warm staff and lively music, the food and the drinks were lovely and would definitely recommend to anyone venturing into new/looking for familiar tastes! Thank you for giving us a memorable evening
There are a few excellent Indian restaurants in Glasgow and this is one. Never had a less than delicious meal. Service always good. I've brought international guests before and they have loved it. Atmosphere, nice and relaxing. Recommend
Had a great weekend lunch here! The food was fabulous, incredible flavours. Really appreciated the clear menu options for gluten free and vegan diners - lots of choice there! Definitely will return...
I went twice last week - once on my own and once with company and each time felt relaxed, welcome and taken care of. The food was delicious. It's been consistently like this ever since I visited for the first time a few years ago. it's my favourite curry spot in town by far.
Visited The Dhabba for pre-theatre before heading to The Tron. The food was so delicious. (I recommend the Gosht Kathi for a starter) Even though I'm not great with spice, the food was too tasty not to finish. Also, the service we received was brilliant. All the staff are so helpful and well mannered. Will definitely return!
Last night I ate at the dhabba and it was a truly wonderful experience as someone who suffers from a tree nut and peanut allergy. It is a 100% nut free kitchen so to have the assurance I could have anything on the menu was a very welcoming sight, and the food was absolutely delicious. Couldn’t recommend the dhabba highly enough!
Chaat is too good here, especially samosa chat, north indians will really like the food here, this place is not for south indians or spicy food lovers but the taste is too good.
We went for a let’s afternoon snack on Sunday . Food was tasty and tempting . Enjoyed all the 6 items , gosht kathi roll has a taste closer to kolkata mutton roll , papri chaat , gol gappe , burl puri, jhinga and kulfi
Out of this world. Food was delicious and hot. Full of flavour and spices. The server was lovely and she helped me find my way round the menu, as I wasn't sure what was what. Thank you!
Visited a dhaba to celebrate a special occasion, and it was an experience to remember! The samosa chaat was a burst of flavors, and the malai kofta? Absolutely to die for—easily the tastiest I’ve ever had. The ambiance was more like a fine-dining restaurant, blending charm with comfort. Every detail, from the beautifully designed menu to the quaint little corners decorated with a rustic touch, added to the magic. Everything about this place was simply amazing!
Had dinner here last night with family in a group of 5 people. The business has new ownership and some changes have been made to the menus. The waiter offered to adapt to any food items that we had on a previous visit in December and made good suggestions based on what we liked before. The food was amazing and staff were attentive. Can't wait to come back.
Some of the most amazing food ive ever gotten, i won a giveaway for a 3 course meal to the dhabba from their instagram and im so glad i entered! i didnt have it in me to order dessert but they gave me a lovely mango yogurt drink to finish which was amazing. The breads and currys are absolutely unreal, the staff were so friendly and lovely and made sure we were happy!, ill definitely be back!
Shoutout to Shahari – A True Gem at Dhaba! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Dhabba during my trip to Scotland, and let me just say—this might’ve been the best food I had during my entire stay. But beyond the incredible flavors, it was the hospitality that left a lasting impression, thanks to one amazing person: Shahari. I was running late to catch my bus and showed up just as the restaurant was getting ready to close. I figured I might be turned away, but instead, Shahari welcomed me with a warm smile and said, “As long as you order quickly, we’ll take care of you.” And wow—did she ever. She gave me fantastic recommendations (you’ll see the dishes in the photo), and every single bite was beyond belief. Authentic, rich, perfectly spiced—it hit all the right notes. But what really made the moment special was how genuine and sweet Shahari was. She wasn’t just doing her job—she was making sure I felt welcome, seen, and cared for. And it wasn’t just me—she was juggling two other tables with the same kindness, energy, and professionalism. You could see how much she cares about people, and it truly reflects well on the restaurant. Whoever hired her made the best decision. She even packed my food carefully so I could make it to my bus on time—and I did, safely and happily full. Thank you, Shahari, for your heart, your service, and your warmth. You turned what could’ve been a stressful day into a memorable one. I’ll be recommending Dhabba to anyone visiting Glasgow—not only for the food but for the exceptional people like you who make it shine.
Hosts were so lovely and helpful. They were also extremely friendly to not just ourselves but to everyone around the restaurant. The food was the best Indian food I’ve had in Glasgow. Honestly amazing.
The Dhaba Glasgow – A Hidden Gem! This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were warm and welcoming. The food? Incredible. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, some homestyle Indian dishes, and the Daal – all bursting with authentic flavors. The starters were just as impressive. The Vada Pav was outstanding – honestly, better than what I’ve had in Mumbai. And the Dahi Vada? Simply wow. Light, flavorful, and refreshing. Every dish was a 10/10. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re in Glasgow and craving proper, delicious Indian food. The Dhaba is where it’s at!
The food is understated, beautiful, and absolutely delicious! Generous portions and fairly priced! We had three lamb dishes, a chicken biryani, two butter chickens, and several starters. There wasn't a single miss!! A must go for anyone! Sad there won't be one when we get back to Canada!
